Job Title: | Trade Finance - Regional Officer - Florida | | | | Skills: | Trade Finance Trade Services Business Development International Banking Credit Analysis Marketing | | | | Skill Notes: | 1. Prospect for new trade service customers through established referral sources, targeting suspects, implementing systematic calling programs and maintaining active prospect customer lists. Research financial and non-financial characteristics of prospects to identify those relationships of maximum benefit to the Company.
2. Interact with Relationship Managers to ensure risks and potential risk mitigants are well documented in facility proposals. Accompany them on customer calls and assist them in better understanding the trade aspects of existing and prospective facilities.
3. Support Relationship and Branch Managers in meeting trade service needs of customers by serving as consultant as required. Remain current in industry developments and Company policies and capabilities to maximize contribution to the relationship management team.
4. Maintain accurate activity reports documenting sales activities and progress.
5. Increase the Company’s market profile by identifying and participating in regional community trade shows and trade associations likely to lead to profitable business opportunities.
6. Meet with Trade Services Operations staff to stay abreast of operational capabilities and utilize them as marketing resources as appropriate.
7. Support the Company’s Diversity programs. Minimum of eight years proven and progressive trade services experience or equivalent.
Strong sales, communications, credit, leadership, analytical, organizational and time management skills.
Sound knowledge of trade services products, the Company’s capabilities, international trade issues and the Metro New York market.
